1st and 99th - 1. és 99.

Ez a két szám lesz a meghatározója ennek a bejegyzésnek. Ez az első alkalom, amikor sikerült hordható kiscipőket varrni neki. A különleges alkalom, melyre készültek, Dédpapa 99. születésnapja, melyen Tnak nagyon elegánsnak kell lennie, ezért is készültek a cipők :) Biztos vagyok benne, higyfurcsának tűnhet a színválasztás. Magam is döbbenten láttam a rózsaszín anyagot a kezeim között (igazság szerint az is kiderült, hogy összesen 30 cm rózsaszín cérna volt itthon....Döbbenet, de vennem kell egy spulnival....), de T ruhája szürke rózsaszín pöttyökkel :)

Szürke gyapjúfilcet használtam hozzá, kockás anyaggal béleltem és a virágok is gyapjúfilcből vannak.

Nagyon mosolygott, amikor kész lettem és nyújtotta a lábacskáit, hogy próbáljuk fel. Remélem, ez azt jelenti, hogy tetszett neki :)

 

 

These two numbers are the main points of this post. This is the first time I sewed shoes for T and managed to make usable ones. And the special occassion for these is her Great-Grandpa's 99th birthday. T should be very elegant today, so she needed some shoes :) I am sure you found strange to see pink flowers on them. Even I was surprised to use this colour (which I do hate), but T has a grey dress with pink dots :)

I used grey wool for the shoes, the inside fabric is white-pink checked and the flowers are made of pink wool.

She smiled a lot when I finished and she let me try them on :) I hope this means she liked them.

Winter is here - Itt a tél

Where are my knitting needles?, I askat the beginning of winter. When cold weather is at the door I usually buy some yarns and start to make accessories. This time it was a bit different. Tami had no winter cap, we bought one, but unfortunately it is too small....the shops has very expensive ones... And I like handmade things. So let's make one to her! I suddenly became a member of ravelry (ravelry.com) and found fantastic patterns online.

I bought some baby wool and got started. The wonderful pixiehat pattern was here: http://trikoter.blogspot.hu/2009/05/trudes-pixielue-med-hals.html. Thanks for that! Then I decided to make little mittens, too. I asked ahama for help and shewas kind enough to answer all my questions, thank you, dear! (ahama.blogspot.com). :) I used exactly two yarns for the whole project.

 

And the best thing: this is the first cap she likes! :)))

 

Hol vannak a kötőtűim? - teszem fel rendre a kérdést valamikor ősz végén/ tél elején, amikor a hideg jdőrádöbbent, hogy megint kéne kötnöm valami kiegészítőt. Az idén egy picit másképp történt. Arra döbbentem rá ugyanis, hogy Taminak nincs téli sapekja, mert amit vettünk neki nyáron, azt mostanra kinőtte...:( a boltokban meg állati drágákat találtam. És amúgy is szeretem a saját készítésű dolgokat. Akkor meg miért nem csináljak neki egyet én magam? Hamarosan regisztráltam a ravelryn (ravelry.com), ahol fantasztikus mintákat találtam!

 

Vettem is gyorsan 100% merinói gyapjú bébifonalat tarkabarka színben, és nekiláttam. A fantasztikus manósapi mintáját itt találtam, köszönet érte: http://trikoter.blogspot.hu/2009/05/trudes-pixielue-med-hals.html. Úgy belejöttem, hogy a végén kesztyűt is szerettem volna, így Ahamától (ahama.blogspot.com) kértem és kaptam tanácsot és segítséget egy mini kesztyűhöz. Pont két gombóc fonal fogyott el :)

 

 

És a legjobb dolog az egészben: ez az első sapkája, amit szeret! :))))

Autumn is coming - itt van az ősz, itt van újra...

Szóval a múlt hét egyik napján az ősz felvillantotta dermesztő énjét, én meg bepánikoltam, mert nincs meleg babatakarónk. Van nyári, ami ugye kissé hidegnek tűnt. Meg van polár, ami épp nem jó, mert szőrös.... Nem rágni való. Aztán van igazi, de ahhoz meg még nőni kell két-három évet, ebbe a kicsi ágyba tán be se fér. Nem maradt más megoldás, kellett egyet varrni a bébinek. Meg kell mondjam, nem vagyok túl nagy takaróvarró, és nagyon siettem is, szóval ez egy amolyan 'turbó-takaró' lett. Nem esztétikum vezérelt, praktikum....

A színes flanel négyzeteket még Ausztráliából kaptam évekkel ezelőtt, mikor kedvenc boltom a Ribbons and Rainbows bezárt (lásd első post....). Erősen limitált mennyiség volt, egy színből max hat darab. De mivel tavaly már használtam belőle, volt, amiből még kevesebb. Szerencsére anyagokat pakolgatni babával a kézben is lehet, így egy este pár perc alatt megszületett a terv, másnap alvásidőben gyors varrás, hátlap és bélésvásárlás. Következő napi alvásidőben a mackók (mert mi más lehetne az én Mackóm takaróján, ha nem mackók?), majd a keretezés (ez tartott a legtovább és ez a leggyengébb rész....). A mackók a hátlapon isjól latszanak, mert trükköztem a cérnákkal, a szivárvány színeiben. Mi más is lehetne? (rainbows :)) De kész! Jöhetsz, Ősz! :)

 

 

 

One day last week our beautiful summer weather turned into autumn for a day. I paniced as we do not have a baby cover. We have several blankets, but none of them is good enough. The summer one is too thin, not warm enough. The thermo one is too hairy. Not good for a baby who eats everything. The normal cover is too big, she has to grow for two or three more years and it even does not fit in her small bed. The only solution I had to sew one for my baby. I have to admit that I am not a quiltmaker and I was in a hurry, so it is nothing very sophisticated, but a quick one. Not too complicated but practical...

The colourful fleece squares were bought from my favourite ex-quilt shop, Ribbons and Rainbows (more in the first post) from Australia. There was a limited amount, maximum six of a colour and because I used some last summer, there were even more limited colours. Luckily I could make the design with my baby in my hand, so the plan was made in some minutes in that very evening. The next day in nappy time I sewed them together, I bought backing and filling. In the next day nappy time I sewed the bears ( what else for my little Bear?). They can be akso seen from the back as I was a bit tricky with the threads. Bears are rainbow coloured remembering the original place Ribbons and Rainbows :) Then the border (this was the longest work and this is my weakest point...). But it is ready! Autumn, you can come now! :)

Tami's garden 7 - Tami kertje 7.

Egyenlőre kész. Vagyis nincs kész, de már használatban van :) Így néz ki fő projektem, Tami játszószőnyege egyben. Készülnek még "alkatrészek", mutatom majd később... De most büszkén mutatom a kész szőnyeget:

 

 

It is semi-finished. It is not finished, but it's in use :) So this is my main project, Tami's playing mat. There are going to be some more accessories, I am going to show them later.... But now I am proudly show you the mat:

Tami's garden6- Tami kertje 6.

'Somewhere over the rainbow' - one of ny favourite songs plus one of our wedding songs... Rainbow anyway is something special... There has to be one ( or two) in Tami' s garden :)

I bought two styrofoam pipes in the hardware store (I have no idea what are thye used for but I found them in the gardening department - although at that time I did not know they were going to be parts of a garden:)) Then I measured them. They were 14 cm, a rainbow has 7 colours, so there were just enough room for two rainbows for what I used 1 cm stripes.

I sewed a tube and I also sewed one end, so I could easily turden it out, I put the pipe in and that's it :)

 

 

'Somewhere over the rainbow' - az egyik kedvenc dalom, és az egyik dal, amire férjhez mentem.... És a szivárvány amúgy is különleges dolog... Kellett hogy tegyek egyet (vagy kettőt) Tami kertjébe :)

Vettem a barkácsboltban két csőburkoló habszivacs csövet...(gőzöm sincs valójában mire valók, de a kertészeti részlegen találtam rájuk - pedig akkor még nem is tudtam, hogy egy kert részei lesznek:)) Aztán lemértem, pont 14 cm volt, egy szivárvány pedig pont 7 színből áll, pont kifért tehát 1 cm-es csíkokból 2 szivárvány.

Varrtam egy csövet, az egyik végét is levarrtam, így könnyedén ki tudtam fordítani, majd ráhúztam a csőre és kész :)

Now let' s see some more parts of Tami's garden.

Nos, akkor mutatok néhány újabb részletet Tami kertjéből.

 

A tábla nagyon fontos, mert így mindenki rögtön tudja, hol jár:

The sign at the entrance is very important so one can be sure where (s)he is:

To answer Julcsi' s question the veggie garden is something like a bunch of pockets to put raddishes and carrots in and out.

 

Julcsi kérdésére válaszolva a zöldségágyás egy csomó zsebszerűség, amibe ki és be lehet pakolni a zöldségeket.

A virág szirmai felhajthatóak, később állatok kerülnek a szirmok alá (ezt majd később mutatom), a közepe pedig zörög, csak hogy izgalmasabb legyen.

The petals of the flower can be rounded up (different animals are going to hide under the petals in the future- I am going to show them later), the middle of it makes noise if you push it, just to be more exciting.

 

A gombák pedig tűzés helyett kerültek ide, összetartják a rétegeket és színesítik a kertet.

 

The mushrooms are there instead of quilting plus they make the garden more colourful.

Igazi kert pedig nem létezhet tó nélkül, így azt is tettem bele. Halacskák és békák fogják benépesíteni, szintén a finommotorikus mozgást erősítendő. (a hullámok valójában zsebek).

 

A perfect garden has a lake, so I sewed one. There going to be fish and frogs in it to help developing Tami's coordination (waves are pockets).

Most már tudjátok, hogy mi is ez az egész, ugye? :)

Tami's garden 4.- Tami kertje 4.

"okos vagy, mint a nap!" - hallhatjuk (szerencsés esetben) nap mint nap... Nos, ezért benne a tükör. Elkészítettem varrógéppel az arcot, majd fogtam két ovális sárga anyagot, összefogtam, hozzácsaptam egy sárga karikát, közé dobáltam a sárga háromszögeket és készen volt a napocska. A "tükör" kartonon van, egy kedves ismeretlen küldte, aki FBn látta, hogy ilyet keresek. Azt utólag tettem bele. (Így kivehető, ha mosnom kéne a napot.) A narancssárga sugarakat szintén géppel varrtam a tűfestés technikájával. Tami hosszú-hosszú percekig nézegeti, forgatja :)

 

'You are clever as the sun! (Hungarian saying)', you can hear day by day... This is why there is a 'mirror' in it. First I made the face with my sewing machine, then I took two oval pieces of yellow fabric, I added a yellow round shape, I put some triangles between these and voila! The sun was ready. The 'mirror' is cardboard paper which I got from an unknown nice lady through FB where I looked for a shop to buy it. I put in in the sun at the end (so it can taken if I need to wash the sun) The orange sunrays are also sewn by machine, the same technique as needle painting. Tami likes it, she is looking at it for long long minutes :)
