Happy New Year...

Sunday, January 2, 2011

...after a Happy Xmas. I mean, hopefully it will be a HAPPY New Year. Let's have a look at the Christmas pictures. As I had a rest without my laptop (it was amaizing and fantastic to live without Internet for some days) I have lots of pictures to show. But as I really do not want to make you bored I made a little collection of the most important ones.

First of all my Avent Calendar which I got from kaz (thank you so much) from Aussieland. This is the opened version: all the great stuff together:

And this is the last and main handmade present:

Here are the pressies from E and A, my dear friends from the UK. It was a big surprise and a big laugh (when we opened them with B). They were beautifully wrapped (I really did not want to open them at first, but I was toooooo curious):

And here is the cheesecake I made for Christmas dinner with passionfruit and blueberries. I think it was yummi:

I hope you also had Great Holidays!

Merry Xmas!

Merry Christmas everyone in the blog world. Unfortunately I am not blogging from my laptop, so no pics around, but they are coming soon. I hope you all have a joyful time together and friends (like me).

Advent

How to use simple sugar? As we do not eat it, I found another way to use them...Little white sugar cubes on my wreath... I hope you like it, too. It was strange for the first time but now I like it :D
This other wreath is for my class:
The snowman is especially for my little ones. (Sorry for the quality of the second picture, I couldn't take a better photo...)

Happy Advent!

What a weekend!

Monday, November 22, 2010

These days I basically do nothing but going to school then university then work at home and finally do my homework. It is really not easy to manage my life these days, but I can enjoy the silent moments more than ever before. I had some of these moments when I found an hour in the weekend to have a rest and make this Apple Crumble. I got the recipe from ym dear friend, Eili so it was not only a nice dessert but helped me to remember the nice days I spent in England this October so I could make my next step (and homework).

Look:

And B baked some chestnuts so we had a nice just-before-Christmas-winter-evening. Thank you, B!

Exactly 1 kg of grapes

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Have you seen such a beautiful fruit?
I went to the supermarket yesterday and chose one of the grapes in the basket. And it was exactly 1 kg. :)
Just to show you how big it was I put a musli bar next to it.
