How to use simple sugar? As we do not eat it, I found another way to use them...Little white sugar cubes on my wreath... I hope you like it, too. It was strange for the first time but now I like it :D
This other wreath is for my class:
The snowman is especially for my little ones. (Sorry for the quality of the second picture, I couldn't take a better photo...)

Happy Advent!

What a weekend!

Monday, November 22, 2010

These days I basically do nothing but going to school then university then work at home and finally do my homework. It is really not easy to manage my life these days, but I can enjoy the silent moments more than ever before. I had some of these moments when I found an hour in the weekend to have a rest and make this Apple Crumble. I got the recipe from ym dear friend, Eili so it was not only a nice dessert but helped me to remember the nice days I spent in England this October so I could make my next step (and homework).

Look:

And B baked some chestnuts so we had a nice just-before-Christmas-winter-evening. Thank you, B!

Exactly 1 kg of grapes

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Have you seen such a beautiful fruit?
I went to the supermarket yesterday and chose one of the grapes in the basket. And it was exactly 1 kg. :)
Just to show you how big it was I put a musli bar next to it.

Halloween Cookie Cuts

Monday, November 1, 2010

Luckily we found some cookie cutters with E. in England so my imagination could 'fly over the kitchen' and I made these. It was a recipe invented by me so the dough became a nightmare soon but later it turned out quite well. After 2 days they are moooore delicious.
Happy Halloween everyone! (I mean I hope you had a happy Halloween yesterday!)
