This is blog tour time again! I am back as part of Rebecca Page's Sew Free For Summer blog tour. (Do not forget to check the other ladies' amazing ideas - the list of blogs can be found at the end of the post!)
This time I chose the Portia Party Dress which is a freebie on Rebecca's site.
I made a shooting star costume with of this pattern earlier (which is in use till then) so I knew my daughter T will be very happy with it. This picture shows the front of the dress, T liked the 'chest ruffles' very much. (This time I put a flower on it so it is invisible on the blue dress.)
It is a great pattern for knit fabric and quite a quick sew. I hacked it a bit as she is obsessed with long skirts these days. (She did not even want to talk about the knee version...) I used the half opened back and a simple button for closure.
Although it is rather winter/early spring weather here I managed to take some photo shots on one of the very rare sunny afternoons.

Prizes
We will be giving away a pattern bundle of choice each day PLUS an overall grand prize of a $50 pattern credit. To stand a chance to win, all you have to do is comment on each blog, each day so stay tuned to the Rebecca Page Sewing group for updates from our bloggers!Újra itt a blog körút ideje! Rebecca Page nyári blogkörútján az oldalán található ingyenes szabásminták közül mazsoláztunk. (A cikk végén található a résztvevő blogok listája, ahol a jobbnál jobb ötletek megtalálhatóak!)
